Thursday, May 19 is our PC Sunrise Rotary Club dinner night at the Homeless Youth Resource Center. This homeless population tends to avoid men’s and family shelters, often sleeping on streets. The Volunteers of America constructed a facility for the youth at 888 South 400 West and we will cook for roughly 40 teenagers. I ask you to commit to sign up for one of the many food needs below and follow the online hyperlink here to register your contribution.
We will serve the food. If serving, please arrive by 5:30 PM. I am willing to either meet as many of you as possible between 5 and 5:15 PM that night at the Ecker Hill Park and Ride or meet you individually. We need 12 volunteers to supply food, please bring your foods prepared.
We’ll cook and serve Hawaiian Chicken, either cooked on the grill or in the broiler, or Hawaiian Chicken Kabobs done on a grill.
