Q: Do I have to be fancy, rich, popular Parkite with a big title to join the club?
A: Absolutely not. We welcome all people of all backgrounds and walks of life.
Q: How often do you meet?
A: We have regular club meetings every Thursday morning (7:15-8:30 AM). We also have a wealth of opportunities for community volunteering, club socials, and international travel which brings us together more often than weekly.
Q: Do I have to attend the regular club meetings each week?
A: No but we encourage participation as much as you’re willing. There are options to join in person or virtually via Zoom.
Q: How much does it cost to be a member?
A: We have a couple of membership level options. Quarterly Rotary Dues are approximately $250 for a “Full Breakfast” membership or $130 for a “Coffee-only” membership (no breakfast). If you are under 30 years old, there's about a 35% discount on the membership.
Q: How many people are in the club?
A: We have about 80 members.
Q: Are there a bunch of old people?
A: Some old. Some young. And everything in between. Our youngest member is in their 20s and our oldest member is in their 90s.
Q: Does the club have a religious affiliation?
A: No. We do not affiliate with any religion and you won’t experience any group singing or praying at club meetings (unless there’s a favorite sports team playing – you may see a fight song or prayer bellowed out at a meeting).
Q: Does the club have a political affiliation?
A: No. We do not affiliate with a political party and you will find a mix among our members.
